Why John’s Service & Sales?

John’s Service & Sales has been serving customers for more than 60 years. The company was founded in 1962 by John E. Senica, whose hard work, dedication, and passion for helping others laid the foundation for the business we are today.

John started John’s Service & Sales in his garage. His best friend donated a pickup truck, which John used to get his first job. The business quickly grew as his father-in-law and several other local friends joined him to form the first team at John’s Service & Sales.

As the company continued to grow, operations moved from the garage to a local storefront. During the 1970s, John’s sons joined the team, continuing the tradition of hard work and dedication that John had established.

The current John’s Service & Sales location in the heart of downtown Oglesby was built by John in 1980. Today, the location remains a central part of our operations, conveniently serving customers throughout North Central Illinois and surrounding states.

Over the years, John’s Service & Sales grew into a well-established business with a dedicated team of employees and a strong reputation for quality service. While the company’s ownership has evolved, the history and values established by John E. Senica remain an important part of who we are.

Today, John’s Service & Sales is part of Crete United, a leading family of specialty service businesses. We continue to build on the foundation John created more than six decades ago, carrying forward his commitment to hard work, quality, and taking care of our customers.
